For this year's followup to the highly successful 28 Days Later, the sequel, 28 Weeks Later utilised a number of VFX houses around the world. One principal vendor was Prime Focus, who have offices based in England and India. To enable clear visual communication between the two offices, Prime Focus used cineSync.

"The biggest challenge while working for this movie was the integration of the two facilities i.e. Prime Focus India with the recently acquired UK facility. The work in progress was uploaded to London and was discussed interactively using cineSync. With this software we were able to interactively review shots with Sean Mathiesen, the VFX Supervisor on the film. The production management was another challenge as this was our first experience with a Hollywood studio however we were able to work around this challenge very effectively with the help of our London facility."
