cineSync voted best technology

Wednesday, 08 November 2006

Rising Sun Research was nominated as the hottest company among 14 technology developers that participated in this year's ANZA Technology Network Showcase conference, held last week at the Plug and Play Tech Centre in the Silicon Valley town of Santa Clara.

Rising Sun Research won the award for its cineSync technology, which allows visual media practitioners - whether they be film, TV, advertising, graphic design or a myriad other fields - to collaborate on digital media in real time, regardless of their physical location.

"A film director in Hollywood and a VFX Supervisor in Sydney can now review digital movie files, in sync, ensuring that they are seeing the same thing at the same time. It also allows them to draw on the screen and write review notes all shared in real time through cineSync" states Rising Sun Research CEO Clint Walker.

cineSync, which was first used on major Hollywood productions such as War of the Worlds and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, has been seeing a substantial up-swing in sales over the past few months, as visual media practitioners all over the world look for a simple, low cost solution to real time collaboration. Increasingly, they are choosing cineSync to provide that solution.
